Be Well Website
Overview
Be Well is a collection of wellness programs offered by Health Alliance. The aim of the program is to encourage and support healthy lifestyles and overall wellness in order to lower and prevent health risk.
Monthly printed publications are the backbone of Health Alliance Be Well. Copywriters needed a solution to be able to constantly maintain the archive of published materials online, given limited IT resources to provide maintenace. The solution incorporated the use of Flash AS3's XML database capability. The online publications are driven by a simple XML database, allowing easy maintenance of the archive of downloadable pdf publications.
The site design is fresh and active, reflecting the feel of the Be Well identity.
The time constraint on this project was extremely tight. The site (along with learning AS3) was completed within 2 weeks from initial concept to final implementation.
