My Health Alliance was a new collection of individual plan offerings from Health Alliance. The audience demographic represents a wide spectrum of ages and interests. This project represents a challenge where the marketing strategy took a turn mid-project. Two different campaigns-"Shaped for You" (the final adaptation) and "My Health Alliance. My Choice." (the initial concept).
"My Health Alliance. My Choice." was intended to reach segments of the demographic separately, and through character identification using photography and ficticious personas of portrayed actors. The concept was carried out online by channeling the users into the plan options which most closely represents their need for insurance. The "Matchmaker" feature was created to bring the plan to the potential member, allowing them to identify their needs by answering a few questions rather requiring them to do research or fit the demographic profiling.
"My Health Alliance. Shaped for You." was created in collaboration with SRK Solutions and Hootenanny in Chicago. I had the opportunity to work with Hootenanny to assist in overseeing the post-production editing process. The project put a television commercial at the foreground of the campaign, and all other materials (created internally) were to incorporate the same strategy from those efforts. The concept involved beautiful origami objects representing desires our plans fulfill. The commercial appeared in the 2010 Superbowl in the state of Illinois.
Using still images from the video, I created a Flash landing page that echoed the feel of the commercial and directed visitors to the view the commercial video, or continue on to the website. The CSS/XHTML website was also designed to reflect the new concept.
